Minus Furniture is a research-driven furniture manufacturer with collaborations with: SINTEF, SIVA, NMBU, NIBIO, and NTNU research- ing logging techniques, carbon sequestration, biodiversity, life cycle analysis, compact value chains, and circular design with 100 years perspective.

The Minus Chair has one of the lowest carbon emissions for a serial produced dining chair in all of Scandinavia and is produced in Norway in Norwegian pine. Designed by Oslo-based duo Thomas Jenkins and Sverre Uhnger, The Minus Chair was launched in Milano 2022 under Norwegian Presence. In 2023, during Designers' Saturday, the design duo’s entire collection will be launched including: a cafe table, dining / conference table, bench and stool.
