Mutina has a strong and recognizable identity. By engaging renowned designers around the world, they further develop and challenge established truths about ceramics.

Mutina's collections are true to the material, but they challenge the rules of ceramics in terms of scale, texture and composition. Creativity and experimentation are highly valued, and each collection is characterized by the designer's understanding.

Fringe is Mutina's first collection designed by Micheal Anastassiades. The tile has parallel segments in two widths that can be combined in multiple patterns by changing the tile`s orientation. Fringe is produced in five colours, and the collection encourages creativity in both the laying pattern and the choice of grout colour.

Mater experiments with glaze, and the tiles are given a tactile surface using innovative glaze techniques. The collection is designed by Patricia Urquiola, an ambassador for the Mutina team since 2008. Urquiola has created several of Mutina's best-known collections.
