The competition announcement for Best Talents will be published in February 2025.

Designers’ Saturday Oslo invites design students and emerging designers to compete for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes in the Designers’ Saturday Awards Best Talents competition.

The Swiss watch manufacturer Rado, known for its innovative design and use of revolutionary materials, is the official main sponsor of the Best Talents award. There will be a dedicated exhibition of the nominated entries during Designers' Saturday 2025, and the winner will be announced at the Saturday Night Party. Based on the projects in the exhibition, Rado will also organize a "People's Choice Award," where the designer of the best product/project wins a watch.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

All design students and designers who have graduated within the last five years from Norwegian design institutions, as well as Norwegian students at equivalent colleges/universities abroad, are welcome to participate. You may submit one or more products that naturally fall within our fields and are no older than two years.

GOAL

The Designers' Saturday Awards Best Talents are intended to be an encouragement and appreciation to young performers, as well as inspiration for further investment in furniture and other product design within interior design. We want to stimulate commitment and believe in a high turnout with a dedicated theme.

THIS YEAR'S THEME

Each Designers' Saturday event has its own theme. It is desirable that submitted applications reflect the theme. The theme will be announced in the fall of 2024, and the website will be updated accordingly.
